Default RE: Unable to download and install updates

Hi,
I had Automatic Udates on for a long time before asking for help. My Udate
history shows hundreds of failed attempts! I've had no successful Updates for
several months.
As far as changing the security level, the lowest allowable security level
for the Windows Update website on my computer is Medium; I'm unable to set it
any lower than this.
Any further suggestions??
