Apparently, there is updating going on on my PC. Patch KB898461 did
install, but during the shutdown of my system before power off. I've seen an
uninstal program for it through Spybot S&D. Another patch (Malware removal
tool) installed sucessfully while my system was running.

Why some patches are installing right away while others wait until shutdown
is beyond me, unless one of my security programs (ZoneAlarm Pro firewall,
Avast! antivirus, Spybot S&D) has been interfering with the runtime
installation. I'll keep all posted on this, but has anyone else experienced
this?
