I believe that you are showing the two update processes available from
Microsoft. Wupdate would be restricted to Windows Operating System updates
while Mupdate would be Microsoft Update Service which will update Windows OS
and Office productivity products as well as many other Microsoft
productivity products.

Both are current and you would need only run one (I normally use Microsoft
Update but I occasionally will use Windows update if I only want to check
the OS as it does run faster.) To remove the other simply delete it from
the start menu.
