Considering my sister is smart and didn't let me have admin privlages, pretty
much everything you're suggesting is not possible for me. I couldn't even
access the hardware tab! One thing that I did check was for the light, and
there was none. I agree with you, i'll probbably just need a new CD
drive...which is odd because we've had this computer for a few years now and
the CD drive has been fine. There goes my allowance! lol...Thank you so much
for all your help.
