No driver is needed.
The floppy setup in the bios must match how you've setup the floppy drive as
hardware including its capacity. The floppy controller must be enabled in
the bios. Some don't have the latter option, and happens automatically when
enabling the floppy drive in the bios.
If a the bios routine shows a floppy error prior to Windows starting,
windows will not "see" the floppy drive. Typical user install error is the
floppy ribbon cable 180 degrees out.
