Re: Broken? DVD/CD drive not being recognised?
don't know if this helps, but we bought a new computer and had trouble with
the computer recognising the cd dvd drive. Have you tried clicking or not
clicking on enable and disable digital for the drive in device manager. It
worked for us. No one can explain why. It's not supposed to affect it, but it
does. We also had subsequent other problems and had to format, so whether we
had a bug from day 1 who knows. Hope it helps
