Default spyware

I am running ie 6.0.29 and on most web pages that come up some of the words
are hyperlinked green, it seems to be some kind of spyware that sends me to
"best" this or that. I am running the latest updates on spybot and norton
internet security but they can't find anything. Has anyone heard of this and
have a cure?

You need to give some
example pages so it can be seen if it is a problem or the way the pages are
designed, or have you tried from other machines? There isn't really much
given here to help.
