internet explorer problem!

Since this afternoon, every time I try to get on internet explorer, it
freezes my computer up and says it's not responding. So I went to dell help
and support and it sent to me some website, and the internet worked. So I'm
wondering why it doesn't work when I click on internet explorer, if it works
when i try to get to it from a different place. Thanks!

You might be infested with malware.
