Default I E favorite links (not the links folder)

Myself and my friend both have Windows XP Home SP 2 with IE 6.0 and I can
rename my favorite links (not the links folder) e.g. instead of having:
dummieshome.com I change that to: Dummies but my friend can't do that on her
computer. I tried also and the little window that pops up on mine does not
pop up on her computer and we both have the same Dell Dimension. It is so
weird. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!
Mike

What little window?

You can rename favorites by right-clicking one and selecting Rename.
You can do it from the favorites menu or from the favorites on the
Explorer Bar or you can use Windows Explorer, navigate to the
Favorites folder and rename a favorite.

Allan,
Thanks but I know everything you stated. However when I right-click on one
of her favorite links - Nothing happens!

Thanks Alan but I know everything that you stated. However when I
right-click on one of her favorites - nothing happens - the little window (
The box or window that you write in the new name - it is a box or window or a
rectangle or whatever you want to call it - it does not pop up after
right-clicking and selecting rename )

Mikke,

Does her right click work anywhere?
Does it work in Windows Explorer to rename a favorite? (or any other
operation)
Can you please narrow down exactly where the right-click works or
doesn't work?
