Internet Explorer Search Problem

I have IE6 and when I use "Search", after entering my search criteria
and hitting Search, it comes back with an error - "the search box was
empty". I then re-enter the search criteria and it works fine the
second time. This started a couple of days ago. What could be the
cause of this behavior?

Hi Charlie,
Windows XP? Office Research Explorer Bar?

Usually the Search Services are supplied by an external vendor to Microsoft.
ie. Google.com, msn.com, ask.com. These companies are tagged as Search
Providers on the Internet. (fyi visit searchwatch.com )

Since this has just started a few days ago for you it sounds like it is a
problem with the Search Provider that you are using. I would expect that
they will get it fixed for you asap.

If it doesn't fix itself please post back here on this thread with more
details about what Windows Version you are using and the Search Provider for
your Search.
