I recently did a sfc /scannow. Since then, my Internet Explorer will not
diplay any web page. I appear hung trying to download the page. When I
click stop, it does dispay the action cancelled message.

I am running Windows XP pro sp2 with ie 6 sp2

Please help.

Have the same problem - using Firefox for normal browsing now - tried all
advise from various forums first - nothing works - IE does not even TRY to
access internet (TCPview/TDImon checked).

BUT for Windows update try this:

BTW: ALL HTTPS sites DO work still (I found out only by chance to be honest ..
..)
