Hi
I recently had to reinstall windows xp secondary to hard drive failure. I am unise IE6 sp2. I am no longer able to open pdf files in the browser. I am using adobe reader 7.0. In fact on some sites, they won't open at all even when I use "open target as...". Do you have any suggestions? Thank you Jack |

Thank you
I think that I need to register the pdf.ocx file. It is not listed in "manage add-ons" Where do I type regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\ActiveX\pdf.ocx". Should I type it in run:? I assume I should change the 6.0 to 7.0 as well. Hi,
Yes, you would enter that regsvr command into Start> Run and change 6.0 to 7.0. With a command that long, it's safer to copy and paste.
