Hi, I am having a similae problem. I installed IE7 beta on XP-Pro-SP2 and it
failed to complete. I was unable to remove it from add/remove and system
restore crashes immediately upon startup.

So, please help....How do I undo this mess.

Regards...Michael

(Where did you get IE7ba, Michael?)

Try uninstalling WinXP SP2 via Add/Remove Programs, rebooting & reinstalling
it.

If the machine came with WinXP SP2 installed:
