Are the internet options found on control panel limited to IE or they effect
any browser like netscape, aol, etc..? For instance, I configured browsing via proxy server in internet options and using registies disabled access to proxy configuration. After installing aol, would the aol browser inherit those settings and/or could these settings be changed from the aol browser? Thanks in advance |

they are specific to I.E.
altering the registry for I.E. also is specific to I.E. each browser is it's own separate tool, ..think of it this way. You have two cars, a Ford and a Chevy. They both cruise the same highway, but separately. You beef up the Ford, make all kinds of changes to it..changes that affect how it operates, but those changes do not affect the Chevy, which still cruises the same highway the Ford does.
