I am using ie6 sp1 on w98se
Recently, when I try to access my home page (www.rammod.net) after starting my pc, ie6 stops responding and my pc hangs. Strangely enough, if I first go to (any) other website and than to the above website, it loads without any problem, but I would like to keep this website as homepage. I do not have this problem on two other pc's & laptop with same settings. I am using Norton Anti Virus and also scan for ad-ons regularly. I have tried Q831167 without success. I have deleted all cookies, TIF's and downloaded program files, but problem remains. I have tried it on Netscape - no problem there. I have re-installed ie6 and first time after restarting pc it works OK, but second time I restart pc, the problem returns. The problem only started recently, before that it worked fine. The problem is only there, after starting the pc and once I have loaded another website, I can load the above website as many times as I wish without problem, untill I shut down the pc and restart it again. It puzzels me what could be the cause, and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks |

Kiffa "????",
Your homepage at www.rammod.net contains a Java applet that is somehow stopping the page from being loaded (I had a nortons warning when I tried to load it.. maybe this warning is hidden on your machine and you don't see it) Suggest you add this site to your Trusted Zone.
