Default 64-bit Windows, Internet Explorer 6 problems

Hi -- Running Windows XP x64 Edition (AMD 64 X2 Processor 3800+)...

Internet Explorer (not sure if 64-bit or 32-bit version is running at the
time) quite often either:
(a) keeps its window BEHIND all other windows no matter what is in the
window, there is no way to bring it to the front (but if I open another
internet explorer window it comes to the front OK).
(b) Locks up tight and I have to end task (this happenned TWICE while trying
to get to the point where I could post this stinking message).

Anyone else on 64-bit windows experiencing this problem? (No problems with
Mozilla Firefox, I'll probably temporarily make that my "default" browser.)
