My computer has multiple user accounts. On all the other accounts
(besides this one), when I try to open internet exporer 6.0.2900.2180, I receive the following message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORER.EXE This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. When I try to open My Computer, I also receive the same error message except with the line: Program: C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe The same thing also happens if I try to open other things like My Documents, Recycling Bin, Control Panel. I have read other solutions that suggest removal of the Google Toolbar. I have never used the Google Toolbar. I do not have any toolbars. Is there any solution to this? |

I also can't open my Internet Explorer. This started after I updated my
Windows XP. I'm getting the same "Runtime Error" as everyone else. What is the solution? Toby "angelthi@adelphia.net" wrote: > My computer has multiple user accounts. Is there a solution that does not involve the Google Toolbar? I don't
have the Google Toolbar. I even did a computer search for any files relating to the Google Toolbar and came up with nothing. So, I'm fairly certain that my issue is not related to the Google Toolbar. |

Google is just the most common example of a third-party program installation which causes incompatibilities. Use this information as a clue to try uninstalling other such packages you have installed recently. Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- |
