Default I cannot save pictures in original format or view source

1} I cannot view source of any web page. I click view source - NOTHING
happens.
2} When I right click to save picture as, it will only allow me to save as a
..bmp named "untitled" or I can rename it but still only saves as .bmp.

I have tried clearing the temp folders as suggested from the knowledge base
and aslo made sure that the "Do not save encryted files to disk" is unchecked
in the Tools>Advanced Tab

Using Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
Update Versions:; SP2

Hi,
Both of these problems point to a full or corrupted cache (Temporary
Internet Files.) I know that you've cleared the cache, but try it again.
And, reset the size to 50-60 MB.

If that doesn't resolve the problems, try deleting the Temporary Internet
Files *folder* for your user account. A new folder will be created on
restart.

Make sure that you can see hidden files (Folder Options> View) Then
login as another user with administrator privileges, or from the machine's
default administrator account (startup in safe mode) and delete the affected
TIF folder from Windows Explorer. It will be at [C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files]

You would not be able to delete this folder when logged in as
yourself- it's "In use." You should be able to delete it from the
Administrator account.

THANK YOU so much, you are a genious! I have been tring to resolve this
problem for about 1 year to no avail. Do you happen to know anything about
Outlook? I have a question posted at that discussion group but seem to have
run out of help. Hopefully you can get to it from the link below. Again,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU for your help so far!

Question regarding OUTLOOK help:

FYI, the solution you offered that fixed this was logging on as a different
user with admin privs and deleting the folder.
