Hi,
It sounds like Flash Player is corrupted. Download and run the uninstaller for Flash Player 8 from http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/kn...fm?id=tn_14157 then redownload FP8 from http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...ShockwaveFlash Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "justja" <justja[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:064ECAAB-A66F-488A-8D93-45EF14BDBCA1@microsoft.com... > My internet explorer keeps freezing or shutting down for no reason that I > know of. Don,
I am getting similar IE error message with the following details: AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: flash8.ocx ModVer: 8.0.22.0 Offset: 00054b1f It appears to be happening on the Disney website when my daughter is trying to play some of their online games. I used the uninstaller and then reinstalled but the game freezes within the first minute and gives the same error message. Any more ideas? Thanks. -Kate "Don Varnau" wrote: > Hi, > It sounds like Flash Player is corrupted. Try updating your graphics card driver. It may be an older or non-certified
version now. Then reducing acceleration of the graphics, it can cause problems at times.
