Hi
when connecting to www.swarovskioptik.at only half page loads and following message appears: ''Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /srv/www/htdocs/web3/html/content/nav.inc.php on line 122'' Before I could access this page without problem. Could this be due to an upgrade of IE6 ? |

Hi Alain,
The error message indicates that it is a scripting error in the nav.inc.php page. By the look of it, it is in part of the page that deals with navigation. The page loads quite fine for me with all the latest updates. Thanks Rob for your interest to this question,
Now in your opinion who is wrong in the scripting? My IE6 (and its eventual tuning) or the swarovsky site? Apparently you have been able to 'see' the whole page, but here none of the computers in the house have access to it in full. Could it be the modem/router (a netgear DG834Gv2) who has its own firewall? If it was the case would there be a inward port to open ? Else can I correct the script in nav.inc.php and in the affirmative, where and how. Thanks in advance, Alain "Rob Parsons" wrote: > Hi Alain, > > The error message indicates that it is a scripting error in the nav.inc.php > page. FWIW javascript:document.lastModified = 11/22/2005 12:23:04 Also, according to the TIF viewer (Alt-T,O,Alt-S,V) most of the rest of the cacheable files were last modified on 2005-11-17 In any case try pressing Ctrl-F5 (for a full refresh). --- |

Before was some months ago, and since I have upgraded Macromedia Flash Player
to version 8, set to 'always ask' to write cookies... Despite the fact that the URL has been authorized to write cookies and included in the 'safe' list of IE6 that does not change anything. If I edit the 'source of the page' I can see that the script ask for versions 3 to 7 of Flash but not for version 8. Cannot say whether this is related. Thanks guys for taking the time to read and help me.
I was surprised that Rob could load the page and not me. Since I connected the Italian site, www.swarovsky.it and it works perfectly. So I come to the conclusion that the Austrian site has indeed a bad script, and I posted them a mail in that sens. Thanks anyway.
