Internet Explorer 6/SP2
Suddenly my home page changes to: "about blank"
When I reset it, then click on home page icon, again it goes to the same
thing again. How do I find the cause and cure? Windows XP Home OS, scanned by
Noadware and cleaned every day. Automatic updates.

What is in the home page dialog box? Have you tried typing the address (or
pasting it) into the box?
Tools, Internet Options, General.

What is noadware?
Have you tried spyware programs like adaware/spybot. And AVG is a good
antivirus, all are free.

(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
