I had my search box set to one that I thought was the default until my
husband changed it to google but what I had was like a 4 in one that included: Web page search---MSN search people search---Infosearch, (sometimes led to a pay site if none were found where you thought they were but it expanded nationally.) business by name----Infosearch business by type----Infosearch I had all of these options in one little box and on one button and it was very useful and quick especially when you knew what you were looking for and you just couldn't remember where to get it... and you didn't want to look allover creation like on Google like my husband insists on doing. Can anyon tell me how to get this back. PLeeeeeeeeeeease. Microsoft home Edition XP with SP2 on it |

Open the search pane. Click on 'customise'. Turn on the option to use
'search assistant'. -- __________________________________________ Sandi - Microsoft MVP since 1999 http://www.ie-vista.com http://inetexplorer.mvps.org Inetexplorer has changed - for instructions on how to find old URLs, go here: http://msmvps.com/spywaresucks/archi.../14/46971.aspx "Misskitty27" <Misskitty27@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:297DF9DF-6BE9-4F88-8607-D5428DC75642@microsoft.com... >I had my search box set to one that I thought was the default until my > husband changed it to google but what I had was like a 4 in one that > included: > > Web page search---MSN search > people search---Infosearch, (sometimes led to a pay site if none were > found > where you thought they were but it expanded nationally.) > business by name----Infosearch > business by type----Infosearch > > I had all of these options in one little box and on one button and it was > very useful and quick especially when you knew what you were looking for > and > you just couldn't remember where to get it... and you didn't want to look > allover creation like on Google like my husband insists on doing.
