Weird Image Problem

when looking at a template i am looking at for my website, on firefox the
header image downloads and shows ok, but on ie, it seems to stop downloading
half way through the image, leaving me with half a header bar. The image
itself is ok, the css is 100% valid and still i only get half an image, any
thoughts?

Hi Giles,

Is your image inside a <img> tag or is it set to the background property of
a <div> or <td> tag. If its the later then absolute sizing of these tags may
be a problem.

Well originally it was the background to a div but both the div and the image
were 790 x 150.

This problem only occurs on a dialup connection though
