I get many fatal Exception errors of the type:
0246:014F47FB. Note, I am running Win 98. Does anyone know if this version
of IE includes SP1 &/or SP2. Also, how important is it to get these SP's.
Would they fix my type of errors?

That is IE6 SP1. There is no SP2 for Win98.
The version you have is the latest possible.
