I am having a bear of a problem with IE6. I am using IE6SP2 with updates,
until last Sunday. When I open IE, it comes up, but not page comes up. Nothing. All I get is an hourglass. The menu bottons do not work. Example is Favorites, it shows the favorites list but will not open any of the pages. I have absolutely no idea what happened to cause this. Anyone have any suggestions? This happens on my desktop. I am currently using my laptop to try to correct the problem. Thanks -- Len |

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post your log to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, http://castlecops.com/forum67.html or http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30 for expert analysis, not here.** -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Security, Shell/User) Len wrote: > I am having a bear of a problem with IE6. Your PC might be infected with spyware. The page below details many fine
products that can help you remove spyware. I personally prefer Ad-Aware and Webroot SpySweeper. http://www.broomeman.com/spyware/ -- ------------------------------------------ Donny Broome http://www.broomeman.com/tech/ ------------------------------------------ "Len" <Len@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3BE87A49-6226-4AA9-9946-634B18EAB547@microsoft.com... >I am having a bear of a problem with IE6. Is there a place where I can get a complete list of .reg files that control IE, so that I may see what ..reg files I am missing? When this started happening, I deleted the uninstall programs for the fixes. Could this be the problem? Thanks Len |
