Greetings everyone. I recently allowed my cousin to use my computer,
and he decided to play around with the system settings or the registry (not sure which one). Now, he can't remember what he did and cannot fix the IE problem I am having. Now, certain webpages will not load, most glaringly, stories on ESPN. To illustrate the problem, let me use the following URL: http://x.go.com/cgi/x.pl?goto=http:/...120524&srvc=sz If I click the above, it will not load. However, if I remove the portion of the URL as follows: "http://x.go.com/cgi/x.pl?goto=", then the story will load just fine. I'm having the same problem in other browsers, so I'm thinking that a registry entry or some system setting was changed. It seems to me that "http://x.go.com/cgi/x.pl?goto=" redirects the browser to the actual story. So, if I can somehow alter the settings to allow IE to redirect the URL, I should be fine. If anyone can help, I would be eternally grateful. |

Well, you could spend a lot of time troubleshooting..
Or you could go to http://www.mozilla.com and download/install firefox and make that your default browser. I clicked on your link and it worked fine in firefox. -Rob <reenum@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1133760283.318250.157740@g43g2000cwa.googlegr oups.com... > Greetings everyone.
