Hi,
I am stumped (and have been for a long time! and just found this newsgroup) as to why, when I add a website to my favorites, the icon to the left of the favorites entry eventually turns to a generic IE icon. Please, how do I FORCE internet explorer to keep the individual icons? Thanks, David |

Favicons are only temporary until cleared from your cache.
To make them permanent: FavOrg-PCMag: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1558477,00.asp or The Code Project - FavIconizer: http://www.codeproject.com/tools/faviconizer.asp .....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows -Internet Explorer http://dts-l.org/index.html On Mon, 5 Dec 2005 23:31:32 -0000, "David Sewell" <david@hereat.freeserve.co.uk> wrote: >Hi, >I am stumped (and have been for a long time! and just found this newsgroup) >as to why, when I add a website to my favorites, the icon to the left of the >favorites entry eventually turns to a generic IE icon.
