I have 3 user accounts on my XP SP2 PC. On two of them when a hyperlink is
clicked (eg to see a bigger image of a picture) a new window opens, fills and then closes automatically. The examples use JavaScript OpenPopWin. I've removed any Yahoo, Google toolbars and unchecked Block Pop-Ups options. On the other account everything is fine. Any hel;p appreciated |

Hi,
I would keep looking at third-party toolbars, security, privacy, ad-blocking programs, etc. I'll bet one of them is causing this. Anything (non-Microsoft) in IE> Tools> Manage add-ons that looks like a possibility? Running Ad-aware Pro? The "Block pop-ups" feature sometimes allows a window to open momentarily before closing it. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "spikeymikey" <spikeymikey[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1C4225F1-D98A-47EA-809C-5C4EFD421B78@microsoft.com... > I have 3 user accounts on my XP SP2 PC.
