I have a problem with internet explorer in the past few days

Internet explorer won't open new browsers when

Right click open in new window
Javascript link that generates Popup window
Hyperlink with _blank target

IE will open if I use a crtl-n for new browser

I have looked at my settings and turned off popup blocker
and reduced my security to medium

I have scanned with the following tools
AVG
Spybot search distroy
Microsoft anti spyware
Ad Aware

none have worked

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

And... you may have a toolbar or program running which is blocking
pop-up windows- something like Yahoo toolbar, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar,
etc.
The Yahoo toolbar is a very common cause. Uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar
should allow a second window to open.

If you're sure that another program isn't causing this, these links should
