Default Another IE problem

Some sites I go to the flash ads can't be viewed. This is a good thing, I
guess, but I'm curious as to why some sites the flash ads can be viewed and
other sites the ads don't show up.

Hi,
Check the settings of third-party security, privacy, ad-blocking programs.
One of them may be blocking ads, scripts, scripting, active content, flash.

Running a HOSTS file? A HOSTS file may be blocking these ads.
Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File:

The Hosts File (Gorilla Design Studio): http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/

Hope this helps,
Don
