I have got exactly the same bug.
The problem is now that users in my company begin to get this bug too with IE. So, I think it comes from a fix of windows update. Do you know the problem ? symptom for me : - functional with firefox - connect to a site in IE browser just after opening the browser but no image displayed - page not found if refresh page (browser already opened) or when postback done through a site. I found the cause for my problem, not the solution for the moment.
It comes from a tool used by my company, which works with proxy. I need to do that temporarily and the problem disappears : Menu IE > Tools > IE Options > Connexions > Network parameters -> check/uncheck the first checkbox to show/hide the bug. Hope it can help you... "Etienne" wrote: > I have got exactly the same bug. > The problem is now that users in my company begin to get this bug too with > IE. I have had this problem over a month. I've contacted MS and Yahoo and I've
installed Mozilla Firefox, which worked for a while, then it started freezing and it does the same thing with Netscape. Impossible to browse or play games. I've questioned everyone I can and have gotten no answers. I had installied the Yahoo version of IE and they have no answers either. other than to say that each is aware of the problem. No fixes or usable suggestions from MS or Yahoo. The YM freezes just about as often. I've uninstalled all of Yahoo and can't find where to uninstall IE in WinXP SP2....I'm with you.......HELP...H E L P "AprilT" wrote: > I'm looking for help- As soon as I begin to load my internet explorer the > page freezes....or it will load the homepage but freeze as soon as I click on > anything.
