I'm new to this forum (and a novice) so pardon if this is old stuff.
My Norton anitvirus gave me an intrusion warning while browing yesterday. I declined to allow the download. None-the-less my home page now displays a no doubt bogus set of links for protective software that keeps coming back even though I've reset my home page to "blank." Norton repeatedly shows a message about a chane to the Windows Login Utility. Can anyone suggest how I can find and delete this bum inserted command? |

you can try this www.hitmanpro.nl
dont be put of as its all in dutch. the download link is in english. download and install this, it will get rid of most things. there are lks on the homepage for most anti spyware programs. I have used it to get rid of spysherrif when nothing else would touch it. If that doesnt work then www.ewido.net has another suite that does similar job. you can download a trial version. hope this helps regards "StillLearning" <StillLearning@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E88758C2-98EB-4896-A292-A1377F86DC48@microsoft.com... > I'm new to this forum (and a novice) so pardon if this is old stuff. > > My Norton anitvirus gave me an intrusion warning while browing yesterday. > I > declined to allow the download. A BIG ThankYou, izOnlee! Hitmanpro (which took over two hours to fully run)
did what all my other programs including Norton System Works 2006 could not accomplish. Wonderful!
