I have a home page that has a few links on it. If I follow a link from my
home page that has security associated with it, it'll bring up another page that asks for a username and password. If I click back on that page it doesn't bring me back, it keeps me on that page. Could the person that wrote the html have made a mistake in not capturing the page it was coming from? It supposedly works fine in Firefox but I was told that I have to occasionally double click to truly get back because it's an "IE issue" Thanks in advance |

In that case it isn't really doubleclicking that's needed so much as pressing Back a second time soon enough to prevent the redirect from occurring. To be clear about what you are doing use either the Go to... list in the View menu (e.g. press Alt-V,o) or the Back button's dropdown list and pick the entry explicitly. > > Thanks in advance HTH Robert Aldwinckle --- |
