Has anyone else had a problem with the latest ie updates
I installed , rebooted and opened ie and it went to home page fine , but
when i tried to go to another site through history,favs,type the addy in or
use past links it tried to open a new window and just crashed ie.
Then when the window opened to report it that crashed too.

and it is def the updates just out , because i removed them and all is fine
again

No, I didn't have any problems.

I think I have the same issue

on one of the machines I updated - but not others.

Which update did you remove? I have the following 3 installed from the
last update:

XP Update KB910437
XP Update KB908521
XP Seucrity Update KB905915

Remove XP Seucrity Update KB905915
