I am currently using windows XP SP1. I believe my default homepage has been
hijacked by an unknown website. I have done these following steps but no cure when i restart the pc:- a) Reset web settings b) Spyware programme has been installed. c) Delete the so-called unknown website from the regedit. Can anyone tell me what to do without formating the whole stuff? Thanks. |

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post your log to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, http://castlecops.com/forum67.html or http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30 for expert analysis, not here.** -- Vincenzo Di Russo Microsoft® MVP - Most Valuable Professional Windows - Internet Explorer 2003/2004/2005 My home: http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ My Blog: http://blogs.dotnethell.it/vincent/ Vincent wrote: > I am currently using windows XP SP1.
