Default Passing HTML to the browser via the command line

I have the need to pass a string (not a file) of html to the browser for
display. Is there any way I can from the command line call the IE and pass it
a valid html black which will in turn render it in the browser. I have not
found a command line switch that allows me to do this.
Thanks,
JoeZ
