Go to Start | Run and type regedit and press <Enter>. In the left column navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\RPCKDM] and highlight it. Right click it and select Export, giving it a name you can remember. Then right click it again and select Delete. -- Vincenzo Di Russo Microsoft® MVP - Most Valuable Professional Windows - Internet Explorer since 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Neil Williams wrote: > PC is running Windows 2000 Pro, connected to ADSL via modem/router > Internet Explorer 6.0 has started to generate the following:- > Application Error 0xc000005, and will not open. > > Any suggestions appreciated. > Thank you > > is it spyware related? could problem arise through file sharing software? > have run various anti0-spyware programs |
