Hi. Something is blocking certain images loading in my IE. The
images (which are often links) are replaced by [AD] which is underlined. This is some form of advertisement blocking, based on the image size I assume, but I do not know what is doing it. I use Agnitum Outpost Pro firewall which has ad blocking but I have turned the ad blocking plug-in off and even turned Outpost off completely but something is still blocking certain images. Can anyone help or advise me what is causing this. Andy |

Hi,
In this discussion http://www.askdavetaylor.com/why_are..._adsize.h tml one user mentions removing the Outpost Firewall as a solution. Now that Outpost ad-blocking is turned off, try clearing the IE cache. An uninstall/reinstall of Outpost may be the next step. Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "Andy" <nnews[at]agriff.clara.co.uk> wrote in message news:asmjq1hhvi3j588qr7vsvo9tvahetg274f@4ax.com... > Hi. Something is blocking certain images loading in my IE. Just to update on the outcome; turning off Outpost Ad plug-in AND clearing IE's cache did the trick (a hard refresh in IE - Ctrl+Refresh also works). Thanks for the help & Merry Christmas - Andy |
