I have uploaded a web site to the server and it opens and runs OK in Netscape
and Foxfire, but it will not open in IE6. This just happened today, up until a few hours ago I did not have this problem. The web site if you wish to check your browser is http://www.lafayettemoaa.netfirms.com. The index page is a "swish' movie. Any help will be much appreciated. |

In fact, supplement your symptom description by activating maximal prompting via the Security tab. To do this safely switch to Default Level, Apply, then Custom Level and set to Prompt only those settings which are Enable (e.g. marked by a green dot) in the Medium level of security. Tip: press P to find a Prompt; look at the Enable; if it is green, press Space; repeat to the end of the list. E.g., depending on what you meant to imply by "will not open" I might have reproduced your symptom by replying No to each of the various prompts opening the page causes. Specifically I see only a solid black screen with some kind of top banner which contains a few links. HTH Robert Aldwinckle --- |
