I made a setting change so that "TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS" could not be acced
in my browser window (giving the error message several people have listed). I want to change the setting back to the original, but can't figure out where to change it. Any help? |

It is most likely (but not necessarily) to be here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Inte rnet Explorer\Restrictions You might try this from Mike Burgess first if you use SpyBot: 'Did you by chance run SpyBot's Immunize feature? If so, you can unlock by unchecking the option to "Protect IE Control Panel". See http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=6748 Many other anti-spyware and some anti-virus programs will also do this. Look at their options. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE Please respond in Newsgroup. Do not send email http://www.fjsmjs.com Protect your PC http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ |
