Norton Internet Security picked up a trojan but couldn't repair or delete in.
I quarantined and deleted it manually. However, Google will now search for topics but the URL list generated sends me to a website called prescriptionshed.net and thence to various casino sites. Norton, Ad-aware and Microsoft anti-spyware pick up no problems on scanning. Excite will generate a similar URL list which works fine - to the same URLs. I'm puzzled. Any ideas on how to clean out the Google problem? best wishes -- Bobcat51 |

Google works fine for me - just tried it - so maybe it's not "the Google
problem". -- Ted Zieglar "You can do it if you try." Any ideas on how to clean out the Google problem? More likely a local problem. It sounds like you still have some kind of browser hijacker on board. Since Google is working just fine for me, here is a useful link about an excellent hijackware finder: http://www.google.com/search?q=hijack+this -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
