Default Very long file names in subfolders of IE Content.IE5

I seem to have accrued a set of subfolders in Content.IE5 containing very
long filenames that refuse to be deleted by the usual means.

Please let me know if anyone has identified a similar problem, and more
importantly, a solution.

Thanks in advance,
bjt

Try...
CCleaner, from http://www.ccleaner.com/
Free History Eraser:

The History folder can be deleted manually:

http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/archive/answers3.htm#Cache
"Description of the Internet Explorer CACHE".
