i've been so frustrated over the not being able to load rooms, it seems that
it must be an ie issue. can it be uninstalled then reinstalled?

I'd like to use my recovery disks and start over, but when i put those in i
don't know what program to open them with or how to use them. in 98, all i
had to do was stick in the recovery disk.

any help would be appreciated.

By "rooms" do you mean chat rooms (probably Java) or web forums (HTML and
JavaScript?)

What, specifically is the problem? Are there error messages?

Are there problems with other sites?

Which version of IE? Go to IE> Help> About for a version number like
6.0.2800.1106
