Does anyone have any input on the secretmaker and whether it slows down the
system? I was doing great with it until about 3 maybe 4 days ago....not even
sure if it is this program that is slowing down my system.-

Don't know the software although something from the dim and distant past
rings a bell somewhere

The short answer is that any software that does (or tries to do) what it
claims is very likely to cause slow downs if it becomes broken.

Can you think of anything else in the last few days (an update to something
maybe?) that coincides with this behaviour?

Do you run any other anti virus / anti spyware or firewall programs, or
anything else to deal with spam?

What part of the system is slowing down? Browsing, email, local files and
stuff or would you say just "Everything"?

Yes, I know. And I meant it. I have never heard of anything called
"secretmaker" in association with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
