I am trying to move my favorites from my desktop to my laptop. I've followed
the instructions in IE help and exported the file to my documents. Then I
sent it to my e-mail and imported the file. However, the favorites don't get
added. Any tips? Thanks.

This is the normal one when you use email without zipping the file:

"Not a valid bookmark file" error
Created by saving an emailed favorites export using File-Save

Open the page in Notepad and remove this first line:

<!-- saved from url=(0022)http://internet.e-mail -->
