Hi,
Was the spyware/malware check thorough enough? Did you run (updated) Ad-aware, Spybot and Windows Anti-Spyware? http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Posting a HijackThis log may turn up something that those programs missed. * HijackThis Quick Start http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/#Top * HijackThis Tutorial and Download http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/foru...howtutorial=42 http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30 http://castlecops.com/forums.html http://tomcoyote.com/forums/ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ http://www.spywarewarrior.com/index.php You ran through the clean boot troubleshooting process. Did you disable *all* non-essential programs/services? A legitimate program (toolbar, security, anti-virus, ad-blocker) could be causing this. Other possibilities at: http://aumha.org/win4/a/kernel32.php Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE] "Baybear111" <Baybear111[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6880CF13-4FC3-4E52-859B-338D32EF84D3@microsoft.com... > I get this message when I try to start Internet Explorer.
