Default IE will not Save passwords

I have a new laptop with xp and cannot get IE to save passwords...followed MS
support guidelines and have made sure AutoComplete is ON; verified that
Protected Storage Service is Running but when I try to register RSABase.dll I
receive an error message "Unrecognized flag" and see" \u an unregistered
user'. I am new to Xp what does this means and how do ifix it in hopes of
restoring password saving? I don't want to create a new user yet. Thank you

I suspect you are making syntax errors in whatever you are entering.
E.g. if you are trying to unregister a .dll the switch to indicate that is /u

FYI rsabase.dll is not used in your OS. Try it with rsaenh.dll instead.
