Whenever I close IE6 I get an error message box that was initially titled
Acrobat Helper.exe. IEexplore.exe. I have disabled Acrobat helper and now the box is just entitled 'iexplore.exe - Application Error' The message reads: The instruction at "0x01f5fb80" referenced memory at "0x018ead58". The memory could not be "read". The second set in quotes varied after '...read' but the first set stays constant. Has anyone any ideas? The error message does not inhibit my use of IE in any way whatsover. It only pops up on closure - noisily. |

Hi,
Maybe the hotfix described in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=899811 could help you. If you get the same error in Outlook Express also, please have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=828133 Kind regards Hans "annitaf" <annitaf@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B2F53D62-873E-4EBC-8D42-C8C7C0B4F3B3@microsoft.com... > Whenever I close IE6 I get an error message box that was initially titled > Acrobat Helper.exe.
