Just got a new computer. Running XP home edition with SP2.

Have downloaded all the current updates. Now, IE won't display web
sites that use java scripts. At least I think that is it. On my old
computer running ME with EI6, they displayed just fine.

Here are the sites I'm talking about.

http://www.aws.com/single_site.asp?id=PNDER


There are other sites, but those two are examples. Have looked in
TOOLS, but can't find anything to enable java.

Any help would be appreciated.

MS does not include Java because of the Federal Court case they lost against
Sun. You have to download it from Sun at
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp. In the IE tools>internet
option>advanced make sure the Java(Sun) button is clicked.
