Good afternoon (or evening, or morning, or whatever),
One of my coworkers recently received a new laptop. It has the latest IE 6 installed, as well as Outlook 2003 with all the latest updates. In fact, it has the exact same builds as my desktop does. Anyhow, when she clicks on a mailto link that is longer than 256 characters (it prepopulates the subject and body) Internet Explorer crashes and asks to send a report to Microsoft. As I understand it, the limit on link length in IE 6.0 is 2K, so I can't figure out why this would be happening. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook, but to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
